Ballerine and Chesney
Ballerine is the heart and soul of BBP. She is rather mischievous, and
loves to play jokes. She constantly makes me laugh, and is my best friend.
Ballerine will be the one to pull my hands off the computer keyboard with her
paw, when she thinks I’ve been ignoring her too long. She’ll be the one to grab
your socks and run, just out of reach with them, and then turn around just to grin
at you. And she’ll be the one to steal the box of fish sticks off the counter
top, and bring them straight to me in the bedroom and look at me as if to say,
“May I have these?” She loves to play catch, and will throw the ball right back
to you- and is at war with anything that cleans a floor or ground; the broom,
the snow shovel, the vacuum cleaner (even if it isn’t running and is just
standing there), and the pool skimmer net. Ballerine has an amazing
personality.
Chesney is shyer than her mother, and likes to cuddle all the time. Her favorite place is in my lap. She has a very sweet personality, and is much more laid-back than Ballerine. Chesney can't go anywhere without taking a stuffed toy with her (especially her pink plush sheep). She will always carry one to the door on her way outside, and then set it down on the doorstep just before she walks through the door. Where Ballerine will take a toy and throw it into the air over and over again to play catch, Chesney will just carry said toy everywhere she goes- even into the whelping pen with her litter of puppies. Chesney is very much so our baby.
